Painting No. 086 (Spring morning on the Lancaster Canal)

This view is looking north towards Haslam Park which is to the left. I was attracted to the way the low sun was catching the bank on the left but leaving the right hand side and most of the barge in shadow, just hopefully leading the eye around the bend and down the towpath.

Original water colour painting size 16inch x 12inch.
